Delete your account
In the app (fastest)
- Open Baseline and sign in.
- Go to Settings › Account › Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account is deleted straight away and the app clears its data from your phone.
Without the app
Email support@downloadbaseline.app from the address you signed in with, with the subject “Delete my Baseline account”. If you signed in with Apple and chose to hide your email, tell us that and we will help you confirm it is your account. We may reply to that address to confirm the request before acting on it. We delete it within 30 days and reply when it is done.
Cancel your subscription too
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription, because Apple or Google bills it. Here is how to cancel.
What we delete
- Your account and profile (birthdate, sport, level, goals, body measurements).
- Your workout history and logged sets.
- Your logged meals and nutrition targets.
- Our copy of your subscription status.
What is kept, and for how long
- Backups: nightly database backups are deleted automatically after 30 days.
- Analytics and crash reports: these hold a random id and usage counts, never your name or email, and expire under our providers' retention periods.
- Purchase records: Apple and Google keep their own records of your payments, and our subscription provider (RevenueCat) keeps a purchase history linked to a random id.
- Meal photos: we never store them. A photo is sent for analysis when you log a meal, then discarded.
Waitlist emails
Signed up for the waitlist? The unsubscribe link in any of our emails stops all emails; we keep the address only so we never email it again. To have it erased completely, email us and we delete it.
